Harissa Overcast

5 commentsBeirut

For Izabella’s last day in Beirut, Samsam and I took her to Harissa. The town sits on a mountainside about 30 minutes from Central Beirut and is best known for a large Basilica and Our Lady of Lebanon, a monument to the Virgin Mary which can be seen all the way from the coast.

A thin fog diffused the light and cast over the scene a mood of sweet melancholy.

I recently saw an esiopde of Law and Order: SVU this evening with a similar event played out in Grand Central with a large percentage of the occupants froze in time. Did you guys have any involvement with this or was it purely an idea taken on by the creators of the show?I thought it was pretty awesome to see something from ImpEv be taken to a higher level like this.
