Day-trip to Kanyakumari, which I got as a birthday gift from Corinne. Met some new people including Dominico (tour guide from Naples) and Sofia (musician from Sweden). Got back to the Ashram at midnight. Om, out.

Woke up at 7:15 (yes I need my 7 hours of sleep) and caught the tail end of satsang. Yoga class was business as usual though I did finally manage the bow and realized that the two balancing poses that I’m having difficulty with will happen soon — it’s just a matter of finding my center of gravity, which keeps changing because of all the weight I’m losing.

On our morning walk up the hill, a person ahead of me tripped on a branch across the path. Seeing this, the person behind him avoided the branch. I avoided the branch too and warned the person behind me. She avoided the branch too. Seeing this, the person behind her did the same.

The mosquitoes were super busy munching on my chest and arms last night so I had trouble falling asleep and woke up at 6:38 (that’s late). At least I didn’t dream about wartime Beirut like I did the previous night. Sitting by Cora at satsang, I just showed her how to use my D700 with the 70-200 manual focus zoom. Go Cora!
